This may seem like a stupid question, but did the man with the radar detectors actually buy and test each one before marketing them? How did he become an expert on them without spending a ton of money up front? Did he just go by online reviews? I'm not exactly sure how to become expert enough on a product without buying all the different brands of that product. Any advice?
